有限会社ミネルバ（以下「当社」といいます）は、当社が提供するスマートフォンアプリ「FaceGuard」（以下「本アプリ」といいます）における利用者情報の取扱いについて、以下のとおり定めます。

本アプリは、次の情報を取り扱います。

  1. ユーザーが本アプリで扱う画像データ
    • カメラで撮影した写真
    • 端末内から選択した写真（JPEG / PNG）
  2. 端末上で必要となる情報
    • 写真ライブラリへのアクセス権限情報
    • カメラ利用権限情報
    • ファイル保存・共有のために必要な操作情報

なお、本アプリは、解析SDKおよび広告SDKを使用していません。

4. 利用目的

取得した情報は、次の目的でのみ利用します。

  • 本アプリの機能提供（顔検出、モザイク・ぼかし・絵文字編集、保存、共有）
  • ユーザーサポート・お問い合わせ対応
  • 法令またはガイドラインに基づく対応

5. 第三者提供

当社は、法令に基づく場合を除き、利用者情報を第三者に提供しません。
本アプリは、解析SDK・広告SDKを利用しておらず、これらを通じた第三者送信は行いません。

6. 画像データの取り扱い（オンデバイス処理）

  • 本アプリの画像編集処理（顔検出・領域編集・モザイク等）は、原則として端末内で実行されます。
  • 当社が、ユーザーの写真を自動的に当社サーバーへアップロードすることはありません。
  • ただし、ユーザーが明示的に「共有」または「クラウド保存」を実行した場合、ユーザーが選択した外部サービス（例：iCloud Drive、Google Drive、メールアプリ等）に画像が送信されることがあります。

6-2. 顔データの取り扱い（Face Data）

本アプリは、写真内の人物の顔領域を検出し、モザイク・ぼかし・絵文字の編集を行うために、顔に関する情報を次の範囲で取り扱います。

  • 本アプリが取り扱う「顔データ」は、顔領域の位置・大きさ等の編集用情報（座標情報）を指し、個人を識別するための生体認証情報（顔特徴量テンプレート等）は生成・保存しません。
  • 顔データは、原則として端末内で処理され、当社サーバーへ自動送信・保存されません。
  • 当社は、顔データを広告目的、行動分析目的、本人識別目的で利用しません。
  • ユーザーが明示的に「共有」または「クラウド保存」を実行した場合に限り、編集後画像がユーザーの選択した外部サービスへ送信されることがあります。
  • 顔データを含む編集情報の保持期間は、第7条（情報の保存期間と削除）に従います。

7. 情報の保存期間と削除

  • 画像データは、ユーザーが端末またはクラウドに保存した場合に、当該保存先の管理ポリシーに従って保持されます。
  • 本アプリ内で管理される設定情報（例：絵文字プリセット等）は、ユーザーがアプリを削除した場合、通常は端末から削除されます（OS仕様により異なる場合があります）。
  • 当社サーバーへ恒常的にアップロードして保存する仕組みはありません。

8. セキュリティ

当社は、不正アクセス、漏えい、改ざん等の防止に努め、合理的な安全管理措置を講じます。

9. 未成年者の利用

未成年者の利用者は、必要に応じて保護者の同意を得たうえで本アプリを利用してください。

10. 改定

当社は、必要に応じて本ポリシーを改定することがあります。改定後の内容は、当社が適切と判断する方法で周知します。

Minerva Co., Ltd. (“we,” “our,” or “us”) sets forth the following policy regarding the handling of user information in the smartphone application “FaceGuard” (the “App”) provided by us.

3. Information We Handle

The App handles the following information:

  1. Image data handled by the user in the App
    • Photos taken with the camera
    • Photos selected from the device (JPEG / PNG)
  2. Information required on the device
    • Photo library access permission status
    • Camera access permission status
    • Operational information required for file saving and sharing

The App does not use analytics SDKs or advertising SDKs.

4. Purpose of Use

The information obtained is used only for the following purposes:

  • Providing App functions (face detection, mosaic/blur/emoji editing, saving, sharing)
  • User support and responding to inquiries
  • Responding as required by laws or guidelines

5. Provision to Third Parties

Except as required by law, we do not provide user information to third parties.
The App does not use analytics SDKs or advertising SDKs, and therefore does not transmit data to third parties through such SDKs.

6. Handling of Image Data (On-Device Processing)

  • Image editing processing in the App (face detection, region editing, mosaic, etc.) is generally performed on the device.
  • We do not automatically upload users’ photos to our servers.
  • However, if the user explicitly executes “Share” or “Cloud Save,” images may be sent to external services selected by the user (e.g., iCloud Drive, Google Drive, email apps).

6-2. Handling of Face Data

The App detects face regions in photos and processes face-related information solely to apply mosaic, blur, and emoji editing.

  • “Face data” handled by the App refers to editing-related information such as face region position and size (coordinate information). The App does not generate or store biometric identifiers for personal identification (such as face feature templates).
  • Face data is processed on-device in principle and is not automatically transmitted to or stored on our servers.
  • We do not use face data for advertising, behavioral analytics, or identity recognition.
  • Only when the user explicitly performs “Share” or “Cloud Save,” edited images may be sent to external services selected by the user.
  • Retention of editing information containing face data is governed by Section 7 (Data Retention and Deletion).

7. Data Retention and Deletion

  • If image data is saved by the user to a device or cloud service, it is retained in accordance with the management policy of that storage destination.
  • Configuration information managed within the App (e.g., emoji presets) is generally deleted from the device when the user uninstalls the App (this may vary depending on OS behavior).
  • We do not have a mechanism to permanently upload and store data on our servers.

8. Security

We strive to prevent unauthorized access, leakage, and tampering, and implement reasonable security control measures.

9. Use by Minors

If users are minors, they should use the App with guardian consent as necessary.

10. Revisions

We may revise this policy as necessary. Revised contents will be announced by a method we deem appropriate.
